Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about film-inspired imagination, reflective viewing and small creative responses to screen stories. Send proposals through the Contact page, with the form set to an editorial question or general message.
What we welcome
Strong contributions have a clear reader in mind and one distinct idea: a useful prompt, a fresh way to notice a story choice, or a considered ritual for remembering a film. We value accessible language, a gentle pace and suggestions that work without specialist knowledge or elaborate materials.
A useful pitch
Tell us the working title, the central idea, who it is for and what a reader might take away. Mention the proposed category and explain how the piece differs from familiar film commentary. If it refers to a particular film, clarify why that example is necessary and keep the focus on the proposed idea.
Care and originality
We consider original work that treats films and their audiences with care. Please identify factual claims that need checking, distinguish your interpretation from established detail and disclose relevant interests. Do not send complete work unless requested; a concise proposal is enough to begin a conversation.
A film can leave a seed behind
A remembered image, a difficult choice or a quiet pause can lead somewhere new. We offer ways to follow that thread without needing special equipment or expertise.
